The Worship Team
The team is led by Tim Curry. If you want to know more about who we are, what we do and why please contact Tim to discuss the work of the team.
We also aim to encourage and instruct the next generation of worshippers in developing musical skill as worshippers; an understanding of the God of our worship; and a personal relationship with God which is grounded in biblical truth.
If you have a real heart for worship and want to know more about joining the group, please feel free to contact either of the worship group leaders Tim Curry or Alison Corbould.
Worship
At Broughton Community Church, we have a desire to see a growing church of worshippers. For us, worship is about more than just singing some great songs - it is also about living a life that honours God. Every Sunday and any day of the week we aim to provide corporate acts of worship that are accessible and which draw us closer to God. We always aim to provide a time of revelation and joy in God's presence.
Values
Our values are part of our commitment to God and the Church. If you want to see a full copy of the worship groups values, click here.
What do we bring?
Every week we aim to bring a fresh revelation of the character of our awesome God to our church and community using music, or any other creative media to convey aspects of His character and His works.
When we worship, we expect an encounter with the Living God where we can seek His face, give Him our hearts and live lives that match the words we sing. Our worship is more than singing - we seek to live lives dedicated to giving God the glory in our employment, spare time, relationships, finances and families.
In essence our worship is a corporate and personal preparation and response to God's Holy word however it is revealed.
How do we worship?
Our worship music style is deliberately contemporary, using full band sounds or simple acoustic guitars. We embrace worship songs new and old as long as their purpose is to sing of His worth and give Him Glory.
As part of bringing our best to God we regularly use video, "PowerPoint", and other audio visual aids to paint bigger and better pictures of the God of our worship - our dedicated audio visual team is a key part of this. We are always seeking new ways to show another aspect of His glory and awesome wonder.

The Worship Experience
As well as serving God and the congregation, the worship team also need to receive and find refreshment. A group of them recently took the opportunity to attend a Worship Experience weekend. From the evidence below they seem to have had a good time!
